The Banditos rallied all the way back from an early 8-0 deficit to win the title 15-10 over the Washington RIPS Brewers.

A storybook ending. The Banditos won Perfect Game's World Woodbat National Championship in Marietta, Georgia. The field of 96 teams, the Banditos went into single elimination play as the number 1 seed. Boy, did they step up! This is the only team from Texas in many years to win a Perfect Game Woodbat tournament. A lot of these kids have been together for many years, some even at the age of 7. One thing is for sure...the future is very bright for every one of these kids as this exposure is unbelievable! We can't tell you enough how hard this team played to overcome the incredible odds of winning an event like this. This event had teams from all over the country, 32 different states to be exact. This team played hard and left it all on the field. Starting outfielder, Jordan Lee, was batting .700 in the tournament. While beating out an infield hit, Jordan broke his fibula and tibia. It was a greusome sight and the game was delayed for 45 minutes as paramedics came rushing to his aid. The first words out of his mouth were "I just want to play!". Jordan has come into his own this year as one of our frontline players. He's paid his dues and can play for any Varsity baseball team in the state of Texas. This kid will be in someone's outfield at the D1 level very soon. He plays the game hard and we can't say enough on how special he is to the team. We won the title for him! Jordan overcame early morning surgery and is already looking into rehab. We love you, buddy...hang in there! We brought you the gold! Our pitching was outstanding and our defense was on the money. Our goal was to win this prestigous event. Congrats 15U Banditos!
