If you are reading this, that means you are either a talented young High School prospect, a proven High School ball player, the parent of a talented young man, or a college recruiter. Whatever the case, we welcome you. Each and every year, it seems like talent keeps arriving at our doorsteps. What a blessing to have as an up-and-coming program! Having a successful Summer & Fall in years one and two is a big major factor why we are able to attract some of the best talent in the Houston area. Last year was a huge success and word traveled fast how well we did. We won the 15U World Wood Bat National Championship in Marietta, Georgia. Three players from our Bandito program were contributing members of the TEAM USA 16u World Champion team defeating Cuba in Taiwan.
One thing for sure, we will find the best competition and go out and play. And play hard! As we head into the 2010 Summer season, our objective is to get our athletes in front of the right people to give them the opportunity to showcase their talents. We will play different venues throughout the State of Texas. Some will even be making trips to Louisiana, Florida and Georgia. We will utilize Texas Prospects Academy this Summer to host several "private" Showcase events in front of college such as Arkansas, Texas State, University of Texas & Rice University to name a few.
We are very excited to hear of the talent interested in our program. This crop of kids will be special without a doubt. To give you an example how things are going, we already have had three "early" verbal commitments to The University of Texas. Not a bad way to start the season.
